Canine & Equine Osteopathy is a recognised treatment method that uses physical techniques to help remove tension and restrictions in an animals musculo-skeletal system. Treatment can help improve blood flow and affect the nervous system which in turn improves tissue health and relieves pain. Osteopathy works on many different levels which is reflected in the variety of techniques used; massage, joint mobilisation, myofascial release and cranial-sacral therapy. The aim of treatment is to rebalance the animal’s body so that function is improved and pain is decreased.
